Servant King Prison Ministries

TESTIMONIALS

  • Lisa and I have been longtime supporters of ServantKing and the vision of Sam and Wanda.

Often we, as well as others, have the task of figuring out how to best utilize our resources. There are many good things out there but most of us have limited resources to spread around. We look to effectiveness in our decision and I can attest to anyone that what Sam and Wanda and the rest of the crew are doing is effective, has merit, and is making a difference in the lives of those they touch. Sam and Wanda have devoted countless sleepless nights pouring all their energy, time, and money into what they believe.

Plain and simple, they are the real deal. It is a blessing to be a part of what they do and it is an even greater blessing to those they help.

Thanks for carrying out the vision God has put on your hearts.

  • This ministry is inspired and led by God the Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel of salvation into prisons and the world. I have seen his marvelous work first hand at Johnson State Prison in Georgia. I have known Sam Merkle for a long time and know he is an obedient servant and Follower of Jesus Christ.

Having myself been saved in the Colorado State prison after a lifetime of drug abuse and sin. (4 times in prison and convicted as an habitual criminal).

And having directed a Christian halfway house after my conversion and release. I know the importance of what Servant King ministry is doing. I have and will support Sam and Wanda in their ministry.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:34-40 NIV)

  • Debbie and I support ServantKing ministries, because we can see that Sam and Wanda Merkle have a heart for the imprisoned.

That they see the need for the Word of God to be spread to those incarcerated. To those that will eventually get out and also to those who will not.

It is not the crime that was committed that concerns them. But the salvation of the spirit. And as we know, the Lord Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The salvation of one soul sets off a celebration in heaven. And is like a stone thrown into a pond, the ripple effects are unimaginable.

So when you support this ministry, God only knows how many, spouses, children, family members and guards just to name a few that could be effected by just one person giving his life to Jesus. Not only do the angels celebrate, we do too.

"In Service of the King"

Servant King is in service
To the King of Kings
To the Lord Jesus Christ
Creator of all things

To minister to the needy
To those that have fell
Into the arms of temptation
Now they live in a cell

They have been driven
Driven down to their knees
Servant King has heard them
And is answering their pleas

A bright ray of hope
In a prayer or a song
Not to reward them
Because they did wrong

But to show the way
The way to salvation
To the cross of Jesus
The Lord of creation

Please support Servant King
Any way that you can
For the Lord of Lords
The Son of God and man
